A thread for away travel information, and let me know here if you want to book a place on an official supporters' bus for an away game.

Sorry to those who might have wanted a place booking on a bus for the Lamphun match but they've filled both buses already. However, if you want to travel independently, I've posted full details on the website www.clubwebsite.co.uk/koratfc/87605/News/view/604266

Away travel details for Rayong next Sunday have been announced...and they're making a day of it! The buses depart the stadium at 06:30 and Yamo at 07:00. They stop at Sattahip for lunch at noon and visit the Navy base there as well as a turtle conservation centre and eventually arrive in Rayong at 16:30. They anticipate arriving back in Korat at 02:00am. Price is 300 baht. In the past, I've been able to book places on the bus for people as payment was made on the day, but for these longer journeys they want payment made in advance. You can pay at today's match - there should be someone taking money just inside the entrance - or you can transfer money to the organiser's bank account. If you click on this webboard.koratfc.net/index.php?topic=12187.msg195626#msg195626 you can see the travel details (in Thai) with his name (in English) and bank account number (Kasikorn Bank, The Mall branch) at the bottom of the post. So, I'm afraid you have to sort it out yourself. I hope to go to the match, but I'll probably travel independently. To be honest, I could do without setting off 12 hours before the match kicks off, and I'm not too fussed about turtles! There are sh*t loads of buses from the main bus station in Korat to Rayong - a couple an hour at least - so I'll probably travel by that means. Maybe leave at 09:00 or 10:00. I don't have a car, but if anyone ever feels like driving to one of these away games then let me know and I'll be happy to split petrol money.

I've put Krabi away travel details on the website. Again, it's an advance-booking job that you will have to sort out for yourselves. Obviously, if you do plan to go, don't just transfer money to his account and leave it at that: make sure you (or the missus) give the guy a call so he can put your name down. www.clubwebsite.co.uk/koratfc/87605/News/view/613595

Stingray - I think you've got the dates wrong for the Krabi travel article. Sat is Dec 3rd, Sun (matchday) is the 4th. Suggesting going to watch football is important on Dec 5th could see you join Uncle SMS on charges of LM

Hi Bruce. Many apologies! I didn't realise anyone missed it which was why I stopped doing it. Now I know that people are relying on it, I'll kickstart the thread. What I'll do is post a link to the relevant thread on the Thai webboard. If you need any help translating then I'll do my best, but I think you can read Thai anyway, or you could get your better half to help. Here's the latest thread for fans to put their name down for the next away game (Rajpracha this Saturday) webboard.koratfc.net/index.php?topic=15991.0It's 360 baht assuming they can get 50 fans to go. Departing at 7:00am. Rajpracha play in Nakhon Pathom just west of Bangkok. I can't go to this match but I hope to go to Bangkok FC away a week on Saturday.

Keep your eyes on the website this week. If it's on Sunday, I can go; if it's on Saturday, I can't. (and don't forget there's a home game this Wednesday )
